Don’t forget if you are looking for an encounter of the God kind, then you do not want to miss our morning Worship Service. Every Sunday morning our SFGC WORSHIP Team lead us into a dynamic passionate time of Praise and Worship to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We are unashamed of the way we WORSHIP our God because He was unashamed when He went to the Cross for us to die the cruel death He died.  Again we want you know everyone is welcome to our multi ethnic gathering of believers from around the world to worship our God in total abandonment. So if you are visiting Saskatoon or moving to Saskatoon and if you are from Saskatoon and looking for a church to call home for you and your family then come and check us out, follow the address on the website or call our office.

If you don’t want to miss out on the main ingredient for the Christian Life then come join us every SUNDAY MORNING at 10:00 a.m. Its a time of life changing worship and praise as well as a time of pressing into realms of Glory and every week its a chance to see what Spirit Led Worship is about no two Sundays are the same.

We trust and believe God for healing and miracles because that’s what He said we should do every time we gather and we have never been disappointed. So come and be blessed and enjoy a time of Freedom in Praise and Worship. And let’s not forget the preaching of the Word of God that comes to us every Sunday without compromise straight as it comes out the Bible no pulling punches but rather letting the Bible speak for itself. So often men and women of God want to say what they think the Bible is saying to us but sometimes its just best to let the Bible say it because the Bible will always say it best.

One thing in our morning services we always leave time and room for the Holy Spirit to move and a time of prayer and ministry almost always follows the preaching of the Word of God.

Our youth group is a place for teens to come together and connect with others, make friends, talk about their faith, and life.

We have loads of fun each week going thru different experiences from working with those that have physical disabilities to a game of basketball etc. “JG” Youth meet twice a month at 7pm unless otherwise specified for a fun filled evening  geared towards different activities and experiences along with a time of God’s word and discussion and prayer needs.

If you are (Ages 13-18) you are more than welcome to come and check us out at anytime, we would love to see new faces. {“JG”-Joshua Generation Youth}

Ushers have an important role to play in church life; they are often the first person a new visitor will meet at church. It is therefore important that our ushers welcome our people and the new faces that show up at our church will meet one of the most welcoming infectious and contagious smiles they will ever encounter found in our head Usher and his greeting team.

Our ushers help create an encouraging and loving environment for everyone to meet with and hear from God. A loving, smiling usher helps to make people feel welcome and wanted. The ushers also help with facilitating the smooth flow of services and assist with alter ministry. This is a vital ministry that serves the people and supports the work of the Elders and Leaders.

The Dance Ministry is to praise and worship the Lord through the God-given gift of dance. We wish to touch the lives of people in such a way to bring about "real" change, encouragement and/or conversion in their lives. This ministry is open and available to any person who purposes to praise God with the spirit of David. Currently, there are two dance ministries:

  • God's Divine Angels (Ages 4-12)
  • ”JC" Souljahs (Teens/Young Adults/Adults)

This Dance Ministry is dedicated to worshipping the Lord through the art of dance. We seek to glorify God in all aspects of our lives and praise dancing is another way in which we desire to please God. Psalms 150:4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance.

Becoming Effective Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

We the teachers of the children's ministry love being part of a church that loves children and recognizes their importance in God’s Kingdom.

  • Nursery 0 - 3
  • Preschool 3 - 5
  • Pre-K  5 - 7
  • Junior  7 - 9
  • Senior 10 - 12

Our children join the adults for worship at 10:00am. Following worship the children are released for their own ministry time in Nursery, Preschool or Children’s Church. Our Children’s church involves group activities as well as small group discussion time.

  1. Praise/Worship: “From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. ”Psalm 8:2(NIV) There is a purity found in the simple worship of children.
  2. Prayer: “Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly, gather together the people, consecrate the assembly, bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast.” Joel2:15-16(NIV) Even the children were called to be part of the fasting, prayer and repentance.
  3. Scripture Memorization: “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11(NIV) It is the word of God in the hearts and mouths of our children that will defeat the evil one.
  4. Bible Study: “Jesus Replied, ” You are in error because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God.”Matthew22:29(NIV) We strive to teach the importance of the sword of the spirit and make Bible Study a part of their Christian walk.
  5. Active Ministry: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”1Tim.4:12 (NIV)

Our children are not only the church of tomorrow but are an effective part of the church today. We believe children can be actively involved in ministry and are always striving to make them active participants. Our senior children grades 4-6 are involved in music and dance ministries. As well they have participated bible teaching for our Preschool classes. When there is an opportunity to serve these kids are there.

Whether it is set up for Children’s ministry or preparing a church meal, we appreciate the involvement of these young men and women of God.

T.E.A.C.H is short for Training Equipping Active Christian Help.

The Practical Bible Training Centre is a vision that the Lord Jesus put on the heart of Apostle Terry several years ago. The vision is to raise up the next generation of world changers and nation shakers. The Training Centre will focus on practical training of future kingdom leaders.

This Bible Training Centre will partner with Global Ministries and Relief under Dr. Leon Van Rooyen. The Training Centre was launched in early September, 2010. Dr. Norman and Jean Rawlings are the overseer’s of  the Training Centre.

We need a Practical Training Centre because many Bible schools concentrate on the academic side but do not prepare students for practical ministry. The first 5 weeks of classes will include such topics as, the new birth, baptism in the Holy Spirit, prayer, the Christian life and healing.

Subsequent in depth courses will equip the believer to live the Christian life to the fullest and to be used by God to change the world around us.

Everyone is welcome.
